Wil was back in action over the weekend at the Magnolia Motor Speedway in Columbus, MS on Friday and Saturday nights. Friday, Wil was able to top qualifying action, start on the pole of the feature and lead every lap en route to the feature win. Saturday, he was able to qualify 4th in his group, putting him 8th in the feature starting lineup. From his outside row 4 starting spot, he was able to race forward to the finish 4th in the feature. Sunday, the team made their way to the East Alabama Motor Speedway in Phenix City, AL for the final day of the track’s annual National 100. Since Wil was not there on Saturday night, he was forced to start at the tail of the feature, which was the 25th starting position. From the tail, he raced his way forward and took the lead, trying to complete a worst-to-first run. He looked to be able to pull it off until his car lost power after running out fuel. It was a heartbreaking end to a great run, but all in all he had a great weekend.
