Wil made the trip to the Dirt Track at the Charlotte Motor Speedway for this past weekend’s World Short Track Championship. Friday, he qualified 1st in his group, then ran second in his heat race before starting 7th in the feature and racing into the top five before getting caught up into a wreck, ending his night. Saturday, the team redeemed themselves by winning the Invitational feature from his 7th starting spot, claiming a prestigious victory in Charlotte. Sunday, the team made their way to the Patriot’s Park Raceway in Dublin, GA on their way home and after qualifying third overall, he started third in the feature and unfortunately suffered a flat tire, ending his night early.
The team has a busy month of November ahead with events across four states at the Magnolia Motor Speedway in Mississippi, the Volunteer Speedway in Tennessee, the Deep South Speedway in Alabama and at the Cochran Speedway in Georgia to wrap up his 2020 schedule.
