Herrington attends Alabama State Championship at East Alabama Motor Speedway
Wil Herrington made the trip to East Alabama Motor Speedway (Phenix City, Ala.) over the weekend to compete in the Crate Racin' USA portion of the 53rd-running of the Alabama State Championship.
Finishing second in a heat race on Saturday, Herrington started eighth in the $10,000-to-win main event but dealt with mechanical issues that sidelined him and finished 22nd.
