Wil Herrington makes Gateway Dirt Nationals trek to The Dome at America's Center

Piloting his family-owned No. 14X machine this time around, Wil Herrington rolled into The Dome at America's Center (St. Louis, Mo.) on Thursday afternoon for the eighth-annual Gateway Dirt Nationals.

Out of 66 Super Late Models, Herrington missed the mark during his qualifying session and was caught up in a heat race wreck. Buried in a qualifier on Saturday afternoon, Wil made up six positions but still came up short of transferring.
