Herrington scores podium finish in Powell Family Memorial at All-Tech Raceway
Wil Herrington and his family-owned team rolled into All-Tech Raceway (Lake City, Fla.) on Friday afternoon for the first night of the unsanctioned Powell Family Memorial.
Herrington qualified on the top of his group and then finished third in his heat race. Starting 10th in the $30,000-to-win finale on Saturday, Wil charged forward to record a podium finish in third. He trailed Hayden Cardwell and Tyler Millwood while Layton Sullivan and Bubba Roling completed the Top-5.
Herrington also competed in the 602 Late Model portion of the event on Friday evening and placed sixth in the $3,000-to-win show.
