Wil Herrington scores podium with Crate Racin' USA at Needmore Speedway

Wil Herrington followed the Crate Racin' USA boys to Needmore Speedway (Norman Park, Ga.) on Friday evening to kick off the two-day South Georgia Showdown.

Putting down the fourth-quickest lap out of 27 Crate Late Model entries, Herrington started fourth in the $3,000-to-win feature event and rounded out the podium in third. He trailed Deisel Jones and Chase Giddens.

Saturday's show was canceled due to high winds and cold weather.
