Herrington bags $5,000 Steve Whitener Memorial at All-Tech Raceway

Competing on the undercard of the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series weekend, Wil Herrington showed up to All-Tech Raceway (Lake City, Fla.) with his 604 Crate Late Model on Friday afternoon for the Steve Whitener Memorial.

Finishing second in his heat race, Herrington started sixth in the 40-lap feature on Saturday night. With rain in the area, Wil quickly moved through the field and was sitting in the lead when the checkered flag dropped. Herrington earned $5,000 for the shortened feature event over Joseph Brown and Kale Green.
