Herrington picks up $3,000 hometown victory at Cochran Motor Speedway
On Saturday evening, Wil Herrington headed out to his home track of Cochran (Ga.) Motor Speedway for a weekly event and competed in both the CMS Late Model division and Street Stock class.
Leading all 25 circuits of the main event from the pole, Herrington earned the $3,000 victory over Brandon McDaniel and Landon Mathews. The win marked Wil's second triumph of the 2026 season.
Wil started seventh in the $4,000-to-win Street Stock feature, but recorded a DNF in 24th.
