Wil pockets $5,000 Limited Late Model triumph at Needmore during Southern Heritage Classic
Wil Herrington made the trip to Needmore Speedway (Norman Park, Ga.) on Friday afternoon for a busy weekend of racing as he competed in the 604 Late Model, Limited Late Model, and Street Stock divisions for the Southern Heritage Classic.
Herrington missed the $5,000-to-win Street Stock event after finishing sixth in a B-Main, but raced his way into the $10,000 Crate Racin' USA show where he ran 17th. Wil saw his best success in the Limited car where he powered to the $5,000 victory. He led all 30-laps and outran Bubba Roling for the checkered flag.
